Idyllwild Celtic Faire - SAAA Highland Games

Idyllwild Celtic Faire will be the location for two days of highland games competition on May 10th and 11th. The event will be held at Hurkey Creek Park, 56375 HWY 74, Mountain Center, CA 92561.

The festival will include highland games athletics, merchants, stones of strength, mead, cider, food and entertainment. For more information on the festival, please visit their website at idyllwildcelticfaire.com

Competition Begins at 10:30am each day

This is a qualifier event for the IHGF All American Series for the following classes, Men’s and Women’s A, 40+, 50+, 60+ and lightweights.

Class Schedule -

Saturday - Men’s A, Women’s A, B and C, Men’s, 50+ and Masters 60+

Sunday - Women’s Masters, Men’s Masters 40+, Men’s B, Men’s C, Men’s and Women lightweight and Men’s Novice

Camping Available - Free in one area and $50 per night closer to the field which includes 4 admissions to the festival for the whole weekend.

Festival Admission: Athletes - Included in registration fee, Kids 12 and under are free, $30 general admission, $50 for a weekend pass, $10 parking and FREE to all athletes.

Athletics will be run by the SAAA and be subject to the rules and regulations listed on our website saaa-national.org

If you are a current SAAA member, or purchase an SAAA membership at the event, we will credit you $10.00 in person. We are working on adding this functionality to Heavy Athlete, but for now, please bare with us as we work together with Heavy Athlete to make this happen in the future for all of our paid current members.
